.) Shave your legs before you apply a tanner. Shaving afterwards will just make your color fade faster.
.) Exfoliate your body to slough off the dead skin. Looking for a good product to exfoliate with while in the shower? Check this out.
.) Don't put lotion on right before you apply a tanner.
.) To really get an even application, rub the tanner onto your body using circular motions instead of rubbing up and down.
.) Some tanners require you to use gloves, others do not. If you don't have to use gloves when applying, wash your hands immediately afterwards.
.) If you make a mistake while applying, nail polish remover (just dab some on a cotton ball) can be used to remove tanner from any unintended areas.
.) Allow your tanner to dry completely before getting dressed. 15 minutes will definitely do the trick.
Do you have any other tips that you use when applying a tanner? Do you use it all over your body or just on your legs?
