Playing Dress Up

I feel like I am playing dress up these days since the majority of my days keep me at the house with the occasional trip to Target or the grocery store. Don’t get me wrong, I do get dressed, put on makeup and do my hair most days, but around the house I wear yoga pants or jeans. I refuse to buy larger non-maternity pants while I’m trying to lose the baby weight so my clothing options are limited. However, my dresses and skirts still fit just fine and I rock those bad boys like a mofo when I have something fun to do.

My friends always comment that I’m dressed up whenever we hang out, I’m not trying to look extra dressy or “dressed up,” it just happens. And I don’t really have a problem with that. I immediately feel better whenever I put extra effort into getting ready and believe me, a new Mom needs to feel good as much as possible. And we all know that nothing makes me feel better like a scarf, a pair of heels and the color pink. (Enter amazing mood stage right!)
