When Baby K was 2 weeks old, we had some newborn photos
taken of her by the extremely talented Heather Bee Photography. You will see
below that Heather does amazing work. She has an incredible gift; I am blown
away by her work. (You may remember that Heather is the genius behind these photos as well.)
For those of you in the D.C./Northern Virginia/Maryland
area, I highly suggest you check out Heather Bee Photography for your photo
needs. Check out her website for all of her services, but let me tell you about
the Newborn process.
Heather has a studio set up in her home for the newborn
photo sessions. I was incredibly impressed by just how prepared she was. Her
set up is amazing! Just for the practical side of things she has a changing
table complete with plenty of wipes and diapers, tons of burp cloths and even a
sound machine to help lull the babies to sleep. Then for the photos, her props
are awesome. Her selection of blankets, headbands, hats, baskets and diaper
covers was amazing. I couldn’t get over how many awesome items she had, it was
hard to choose what I wanted to use!
And she is so awesome with the babies. She knows exactly how
to get the babies to relax and stay asleep during the whole session. Heather
was full of tips prior to our arrival on what we should bring and she made sure
to allow plenty of time for feedings all throughout the process. She is a true
professional who obviously has tons of practice working with newborns. Her work
shows that, but I am here to tell you the same thing. The entire experience was
awesome!!! We loved working with Heather and I know Baby K did too because she
cuddled right up to Heather the whole time.
The images speak for themselves…prepare to ooh and ahh over
the embarrassing amount of photos that I post below.
